Any boyfriend fashion trend is about wearing clothing that looks a size too big for your body, hence, as if you've snagged it from your boyfriend’s closet. From the boyfriend jeans, boyfriend tees to now the boyfriend blazer the key is to go up one size so that it’s not snug to the body. The whole point of pushing or rolling up the sleeves on the blazer goes to balance out the look by implying that the sleeves would otherwise be too long for your arms; also exposing the wrists to make the look a little more feminine. The boyfriend blazer is sophisticated and completely versatile giving any look just a touch of tomboy for a relaxed style. Pair it with some skinny jeans, shorts or throw it over a dress...the jacket can be worn with just about anything which makes it a great wardrobe investment. Unlike the boyfriend jeans that I love but feel could go out of style within a couple years, the boyfriend blazer is a classic look that will be here for years to come!
I like the pearls in this outfit, it adds a feminine touch!
The belt used with the blazer can add some curves to the somewhat boxy jacket
