The popularity of harem pants increased in the late 1980s with MC Hammer. Yes, you may be visualizing the not-so figure flattering MC Hammer pants but, dont you fret my pets,the Harem pants that are ever so popular now are much more modern, figure friendly and cutting edge.It's definelty a fashion forward look as it hasn't yet hit the US in full force like it has in Europe. I found that nearly half of the Italian women were wearing skinny jeans while most others were wearing the harem pants which looked fabulous on most everyone despite their different fiigures. It's just a matter of time before these pants become extremely popular in the US so, you might as well get on the fashion train now before everyone else. There are many stores that sell the pants but just to name a few: JCrew, Balmain, and Nicole Miller. Enjoy the comfort of these Harem pants and have fun adopting a new fashion style that I believe will stick around for quite awhile.
