The long messy side braid is definitely the hot new hair trend of 2010. This hairstyle has been featured in many of the spring 2010 catwalks and recently started being seen on celebrities during award shows. The reason I love this hairstyle so much is because it’s low-fuss and should only take you approximately 5-10 minutes to complete a sytlish causual look. The point is to make the braid loose with a somewhat messy effect rather than a perfect slick braid. The side braid can be worn with a side part and the part must be on the opposite side of the head to the braid. It also looks glamourous with more volume on the top as featured below with actress Rachel McAdams. Have fun with it!
