Green with Envy

"For in the true nature of things, if we rightly consider, every green tree is far more glorious than if it were made of gold and silver.” -Martin Luther
I am passionate about living a green lifestyle as much as at times I fail. I have been more conscious of recycling, using cold water when washing and bringing green bags with me at the grocery store so to not waste the plastic/paper bags. I feel proud of myself for these things and It appears that as time goes on the "Green Behavior" is catching on among the population. My mom and I were able to plant a small herb garden with Dill, Rosemary, Basil and Cilantro. It's been something I've always wanted to do but it took my mom showing me just how easy it was to finally take the plunge. I'm excited to cook meals and pick fresh herbs to make the meals tasty.

Ry is currently in Haiti teaching the Haitians on proper engineering and he is a proponent of living a green lifestyle as he is LEED engineered certified (which means he is Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
So, besides the green behaviors I've been slowly adapting to, I also love the color green in Fashion for this Fall. Emerald green is characterized as a shade of green that is light and bright, with a faint bluish cast. The name derives from the typical appearance of the gemstone emerald. It's definetly a color that appears rich and in my opinion is flattering on all people-whether fair or dark.
